Riteway Creates Homeland Security
Public Awareness Video Series
Unveils Marketing Videos for Business
Germantown, WI – November 4, 2009 – Protecting the public is a serious subject for Riteway Bus Service, which has created a video on disaster preparedness to share with passengers and the community. Riteway, one of the Midwest’s leading transportation providers, produced a public awareness video made up of a series of five vignettes.
Each of the five vignettes cover a topic related to public protection. For example, one explains the warning levels used in National Threat Advisories issued by the Homeland Security. Another educates the public to be vigilant about suspicious items that seem out of place in public settings. A bit of humor is used throughout the segments to bring levity to the serious content while aiding retention of the behaviors recommended in each vignette.
Riteway President Ron Bast, who worked with his son R.J. in cooperation with Midland Video Productions, Milwaukee, unveiled the videos Oct. 22 at a special showing to key customers and business associates. The company plans to show the video series to its coach passengers and is offering the videos free of charge to local civic and community groups. Additionally, Bast, who is highly respected in the motor coach industry, will show the series at association meetings around the country throughout the year.
“It’s better to be well-informed and vigilant in our modern age,” said Bast. “The traveling public is the best audience to reach, and our video series provides an important message for young and old alike. Riteway said others in the industry are welcome to use the video series as well.

At the same time, Riteway has launched two marketing videos promoting their motor coach and school bus businesses. The videos are available for viewing on the home page of Riteway's website www.ritewaybus.com
Renowned for its exceptional service, safety record and well-maintained equipment, Riteway continues to grow. The company has eight locations throughout central and southeastern Wisconsin and a fleet of more than 500 vehicles: school buses, motorcoaches, sedans and limousines. Earlier this year, Riteway took another step in their commitment to safety by providing anti-terrorism training for their motorcoach drivers, management staff and dispatchers. Bast continued, “By training our employees to know more about terrorism and how they can prevent it, we can help insure the safety of our passengers, roadways and cities”.
